Christina Seawright’s story at F&C doesn’t begin with a long-term plan. It begins with timing, opportunity,
and a willingness to step in and learn.
Fresh out of college and actively looking for work, Christina accepted a temporary administrative role supporting the Oil & Gas team. It wasn’t meant to be permanent, but it was a foot in the door.
“I just needed somebody to give me a chance,” she said.
At the time, F&C was smaller and more close-knit. There was one location, familiar faces, and a sense that people paid attention to one another. As the youngest member of the Oil & Gas team, Christina remembers being supported and encouraged as she learned.
“There was a lot of camaraderie,” she said. “You knew people had your back.”
Her role grew gradually, one step at a time. Christina moved from administrative work into Accounts Payable, then into General Ledger, eventually advancing into leadership. Today, she serves as a manager in the Oil & Gas department, carrying forward the same steady approach that shaped her early years.
What Christina finds most meaningful now is the relationships built over time. Many clients have worked with F&C for years, and through different stages of their own careers and companies. That continuity has allowed trust to develop naturally.
“It makes the work more rewarding when you know the clients and enjoy working with them,”
When asked what has kept her at F&C, Christina points to consistency and support.
“Even when times were thin, I always felt like I had a place here,” she said. “I had opportunities to grow and people who supported that.”
One of the accomplishments she’s most proud of is earning her CPA license. While working full time, Christina returned to school one class at a time, completing the coursework required to sit for the exam.
“F&C gave me the flexibility to make it work,” she said. “I passed the final section in 2017.”
That flexibility showed up again when Christina and her family relocated to Colorado later that year.
“I felt really fortunate that I was able to bring my job with me,” she said.
When Christina talks about what it means to be Good to Count On, she doesn’t describe a single role or moment. She talks about showing up consistently, taking pride in the work, and being part of a team
that does the same.
It’s a steady story. Built over time. And one she’s still writing.
