National Community Banking Month

Good Things Happening - Community Banking Month

Yes, it is the end of April and this month may have felt never ending, the good news is that we have one more day to celebrate Community Banking Month.

April marks the Community Banking Month, a nationwide celebration recognizing the many contributions community banks make to our customers and local communities.

At F&C we honorably recognize and support all the Community Banks in Oklahoma.

Our Neighbors

Locally owned and operated, community banks focus on the needs of the businesses and families right here in our towns.  Lending decisions are made by people who understand our families, our businesses, and local farmers.

Giving Back

These local banks are important and have a critical role in keeping our local economies vibrant and growing by lending to creditworthy borrowers in our counties.  Such lending helps foster the economy by allowing businesses to buy new equipment, add workers, or sign contract for increased trade or services.

Developing Personal Relationships

A personal relationship with a local bank is a huge advantage.  The personalized service at a community bank makes it easier to tailor your financing to your business needs over time and leaves room for flexibility on things like interest rates.

Safe and Sound

Community banking customers can continue to bank with confidence knowing their money is safe because it is insured by the FDIC.  Since the FDIC was founded in 1933, no one has ever lost a penny of FDIC-insured funds.

Together, we can focus on the many ways locally owned and managed banks are making positive change happen for our people.
