TRIBAL ACCOUNTING
Tribal Accounting Manager
Responsible for directing and overseeing the firm’s Tribal Accounting engagements in accordance with appropriate legal and standard control procedures by implementing client engagements from start to finish (planning, executing, directing, and completing projects).
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Master’s and/or CPA a plus
• Six (6) years’ experience in accounting in full charge accounting
• Experience with Native American accounting a plus
• Three (3) years’ experience in supervising accounting projects and engagements

Tribal Grant Accountant
Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to monitor Tribal client grant expenses for validity, allowance, and appropriate application and ensuring accurate and timely grant reporting, draw-downs, and indirect cost recovery.
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. (Extensive accounting experience may be substituted for degree requirement)
• At least two (2) years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting in addition to degree requirement
• Experience with accounting for Federal Grants a plus
• Experience with Native American Tribal Accounting a plus
• CPA a plus

Tribal Accountant
Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
• Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. (Extensive accounting experience may be substituted for degree requirement)
• At least two (2) years’ experience in accounting in addition to degree requirement
• Experience with Native American Accounting a plus

Tribal Accounts Payable
Responsible for a variety of clerical tasks related to processing and monitoring payment and expenditures for Tribal Clients.
Education and/or Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least one (1) year of accounts payable or related experience
• Preference given to additional pertinent education or experience

TRIBAL GAMING
Auditor – Revenue Audit
Responsible for conducting audits of records received from clients each day.
Education and/or Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Preference given to additional pertinent education or experience

TAX DIVISION
Tax Accountant
Responsible for applying taxation principles and procedures to analyze information, prepare accurate and timely tax returns, tax payment estimates, and projection while maintaining appropriate legal and standard control procedures.
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. (Demonstrated extensive taxation experience may be substituted for degree requirement)
• Previous experience in tax preparation is preferred

ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS
Software Developer

Software Consultant

Responsible for daily software support, training, onsite implementation & upgrade support.  Combines superior analytical skills and business acumen with a strong grasp on Fund and Governmental accounting and how technologies can be applied to deliver industry-leading solutions.  
Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Accounting with a computer emphasis.  (Extensive qualified experience maybe substituted for degree requirement).
  • Fund accounting and/or governmental experience a plus.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting in addition to degree requirement.

 

FIRM OPERATIONS
Accounts Payable Associate
Responsible for a variety of clerical tasks related to processing and monitoring operational payments and expenditures and assisting with client billings.
Education and/or Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Preference given to additional pertinent education or experience
